Sr. Paralegal

Position Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our legal team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our corporate, intellectual property, and legal needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Governance & Compliance

• Manage and maintain corporate contracts, records, filings, and legal documentation.


• Monitor and help ensure compliance with corporate governance as well as federal and state regulatory obligations.


• Assist in board and committee meeting preparation, including compiling agendas and drafting minutes.

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts (NDAs, MSAs, clinical trial agreements, vendor agreements, licensing, and SaaS agreements).


• Maintain contract lifecycle workflows and assist with post-signature compliance and renewals.


• Serve as a liaison between legal, leadership, and business units for contract-related matters.

Litigation & IP Support

• Assist with discovery, subpoenas, and litigation holds.


• Support IP portfolio management, including patent and trademark filings in collaboration with external counsel.


• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on a variety of issues.

Operational and Administrative Support

• Implement and maintain legal operations tools, templates, and knowledge base systems.


• Develop and refine internal legal processes and workflows for efficiency and scalability.


• Support ad hoc legal projects and initiatives as needed.

Skills

• Understanding of FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare regulatory frameworks.


• Familiarity with medical device development, clinical operations, or quality systems is highly desirable.


• Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.


• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.


• Proficiency with legal software tools (e.g., CLM systems, DocuSign, SharePoint, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.


• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred.


• Certified Paralegal (CP) or Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designation is a plus.


• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 3+ years in a med tech, biotech, or life sciences environment.


• Strong experience with contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.

Compensation

We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our benefits reflect our investment in the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families, including paying 100% of monthly healthcare, dental and vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and unlimited PTO. The expected pay range is: $110,000 to $120,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
