Sr Plex Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a Lead Plex Analyst to join our global IT team as an expert-level resource for our Plex ERP system. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders to align ERP capabilities with our strategic global manufacturing goals. This position offers geographic flexibility and can be based out of any of our North America plant locations, depending on the successful candidate’s location.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Strategy & Business Process Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Rockwell Plex ERP system across global business units. Analyze and document current business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for automation, efficiency, and deeper integration.

• Technical Leadership & Project Management: Plan and execute ERP-related projects, including module implementations and integrations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, Cybersecurity) to ensure project milestones are achieved while staying active in the Plex Community and Advisory Groups.

• Module Specialization & Support: Provide deep expertise across Plex, acting as the primary subject matter expert in one or more specialized modules (SCM, HCM, MES, QMS, or Maintenance Management). Oversee system performance, user support, issue resolution, and incident management.

• Communication & Training: Develop and deliver training sessions during system launches, including semi-annual "lunch and learn" sessions for global support teams. Assist business units with updating work instructions and process documentation, coordinating local language requests as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in an IT or business role focused on ERP systems analysis, implementation, and support, with expert-level experience across Plex modules.

• Project Leadership: Three (3) or more years of project leadership experience managing technical ERP initiatives within a global manufacturing environment.

• Technical & Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, finance, and HR functions, alongside experience migrating ERP systems globally. Hands-on experience with visualization tools (e.g., Analytics, Vision, Plex Power BI, or similar) is required.

• Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to North Carolina, South Carolina, and Mexico as required to support system implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

• Operational Skills: Deep understanding of IT best practices, including change management and disaster recovery planning.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and service providers.
