If you thrive on attention to detail and want different challenges each day, this is the place for you.\n\nPosition Description:\n\n * Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, and material handling\n\n * Able to demonstrate and instill a strong safety culture in daily operations\n\n * Generates and maintains manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM)\n\n * Performing cause and corrective action investigations to permanently eliminate defects using root cause analysis tools\n\n * Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of product, tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance\n\n * Adapts process, tool, machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions\n\n * Working with concurrent engineering team to create Build-to-Packages (i.e. engineering and planning documents)\n\n * Inspects performance of processes, product, machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality\n\n * Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques\n\n * Preparing and presenting technical presentations to VSET, leadership, and customers for review and approval\n\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package, including:\n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n * 401k\n\n * Educational Assistance\n\n * Life Insurance\n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n\n * Paid Time Off\n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n\n * Employee Discounts\n\n\n\n\n \nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Our position emphasizes skills and requires 8 years of experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree, or 6 years of experience with a Master\u2019s degree\n\n * Engineering experience in supporting a production environment\n\n * Experience working with design engineering, quality engineering, Operations, and Inspection personnel\n\n * Proven partnership/collaboration skills and ability to partner with cross-functional disciplines within a team\n\n * Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)\n\n * Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD\u0026T)\n\n * Must be a U.S. citizen\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with Manufacturing Planning and MRP software\n\n * Experience with PLM Software (Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.)\n\n * Experience with using 3D modeling software (Solidworks, NX, Pro-E, etc.)\n\n * Experience working with Aerospace standards and the implementation of standards across cross-functional teams\n\n * Experience with chemical and mechanical bonding processes\u2014rubber and composite molding processes\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
