This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.\n\nThis position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge programs and new mission areas in the following areas to support next generation space capabilities. This position will expose the candidate to equal parts technical competency, forward thinking ideas, and execution focus. This position utilizes abilities to interact in an organized and solutions-oriented manner, with external entities who are contributing elements of the integrated ground and space segment.\n\nThis position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * CONOPS and Mission Analysis\n * Systems Level Integration and Test\n * Mission Modeling and Simulation\n * Verification and Validation\n * Resource Logistics and Execution\n * Mission Operations Support\n * Model Based Systems Engineering\n\n\n\nThis position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in STEM with 8 years of professional experience or Master\u2019s degree with 6 years of professional experience or PhD with 4 years of professional experience\n * Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access\n * Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices\n * In depth use of AFSIM, and ability to integrate it with other tools, like Matlab or Cameo\n * Experience in requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPs\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with a space or ground system development program\n * Experience presenting to customers\n * Experience working with a cross-discipline team\n * Experience in Space Superiority mission design, satellite ground software, distributed modeling \u0026 simulation\n * Ability to architect with MBSE and tie analysis products to model behavior\n * Understanding of system of system architecture designs the interplay between various national security customers and products\n * Mission system requirements, verification/validation planning, mission planning/execution, mission analysis, modeling/simulation, system trade studies, and expertise with various engineering tools such as AFRIM, MATLAB, STK, and similar tools\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
