Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman is currently seeking a Sr Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to provide support to our Roy, UT based Sentinel Team.\n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do: \n\n * Qualified candidate will support MA functions to ensure mission success through technical reviews of all program drawings, contract, and requirements documents as required.\n\n * Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.\n\n * Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.\n\n * Assess program performance and risks and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.\n\n * Assist the Program Quality Managers (PQM) with all Sentinel Mission Assurance/Program Management requirements.\n\n * Develop, implement, and maintain Program Quality Plans. Assist PQM in preparation and execution on of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics.\n\n * Assist in the preparation of the Program Management/Program Review packages, Audits, Partnering with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Interfacing with Customer/DCMA meetings.\n\n * Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * A bachelor\u0027s degree in science and 8 years of Quality experience OR a Master\u0027s Degree in science and 6 years\u2019 experience OR PhD Degree and 4 years\u2019 experience.\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n * Experience with Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, or Military Quality Assurance)\n\n * Experience with Mission Assurance Engineering and Quality Engineering practices\n\n * Experience in Aerospace/Missile Systems/Sub-Systems design, development, test, or sustainment\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.\n\n * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n\n * Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering concepts\n\n * Experience with PM\u0026P\n\n * Experience with Configuration Management/Data Management\n\n * Experience with manufacturing and test quality assurance processes\n\n * Experience with Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB)\n\n * Experience quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and improvement\n\n * Experience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metrics reporting for overall program and segments\n\n * Experience with program PCAB and driving process improvements\n\n * An active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
