Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Mission System (NGMS) AMS Division is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist supporting Multi-Role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) within the Advanced Battle Management (ABM) Operating Unit in Linthicum, MD.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):\n\n * Managing, reporting, and forecasting material cost/performance of assigned program(s)\n\n * Managing the material budget for contract requirements while supporting baseline/EVMS requirements\n\n * Serving as the CAM to support program PLATO/EV/CEAC/EAC activities\n\n * Identifying and managing program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements\n\n * Analyzing lead times and identifying critical path procurements\n\n * Managing on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule\n\n * Monitoring and addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues\n\n * Interfacing/collaborating with other functions of the program team including but not limited to contracts, finance, engineering, operations, quality, scheduling, etc.\n\n * Developing and understanding the proposal/execution strategy and structures\n\n * Supporting program proposal activities (CBOM review, quote initiation/refreshes, labor BOE creation)\n\n * Representing Northrop Grumman and presenting in program management reviews (PMRs) and leadership briefings (internal/external)\n\n * Maintaining a strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment\n\n\n\n\n#MRP\n\nBasic Qualifications for Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management OR Master\u2019s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management\n\n * Experience in at least 3 years in a direct supply chain role\n\n * Cost Accounting Management (CAM) experience\n\n * Experience in SAP (or any other ERP system)\n\n * U.S. Citizenship\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:\n\n * Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning\n\n * Material management experience\n\n * Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS\n\n * Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting\n\n * Experience coaching teams and leading change initiatives with demonstrated results\n\n * Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $112,000.00 - $168,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
