  • Partner closely with Engineering and Operations to balance performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability throughout the lifecycle.

  • Lead portfolio simplification, cost‑out, and end‑of‑life (EOL) initiatives using data‑driven, FBS‑based decision making.

Commercial Enablement & Go‑to‑Market

  • Define pricing, positioning, and value messaging for global sales, distributor, and specialist channels.

  • Support sales enablement, including training, tools, application guidance, and key customer engagements.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on launch plans, campaigns, and application-driven collateral aligned to target industries and buying cycles.

Business Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Own key product KPIs including revenue growth, margin, mix, attach rates, VOC metrics, and launch performance.

  • Apply FBS and kaizen to continuously improve portfolio profitability, customer experience, and internal execution.

  • Present clear, fact‑based updates in ops reviews, portfolio reviews, and strategy forums.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or commercial strategy, preferably in industrial, instrumentation, sensors, or automation products

  • Demonstrated experience managing hardware and system-based portfolios across multiple lifecycle stages

  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into customer value propositions

  • Experience working in cross‑functional, global environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced technical degree

  • Experience with infrared temperature measurement, imaging, or industrial sensing

  • Familiarity with direct, distributor, and system integrator sales models

  • Experience applying Fortive Business System (FBS) or Lean methodologies

  • Proven success leading NPIs and complex product portfolios
