Sr. Project Architect

An architecture firm that specializes in designing innovative and functional healthcare facilities is seeking a Senior Project Architect to help them design and review architectural and engineering plans while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at their location in Southern California.

Your Day Includes

• Reviewing and designing architectural and engineering plans.
• Coordinate and review architectural consultant work throughout construction, including scheduling workshops and issuing technical guidance.
• Support subcontractors during construction by clarifying design requirements and resolving documentation questions.
• Liaising with clients to address issues and meet project requirements.
• Mentoring new Architects and assisting in their professional development.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design, or similar.
• 8 or more years of experience in healthcare architecture, licensure preferred
• Knowledge of codes and regulations, specifically type 1 steel frame construction.
