Royal Treatment is a full-service exterior treatment firm that has served New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, and Georgia since 2016. We help property managers & owners protect their assets — and get more out of their investment — with customized chemical treatments, expert waterproofing, and impeccable facade restoration.

We are looking for a Sr. Project Estimator, to join our team and help us grow, responsible for supporting the Field Operations team and CFO to deliver accurate, profitable project estimates and ensure precise, timely accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction accounting and project cost estimating and strong analytical and communication skills.

CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS:

• Project Plan Review & Cost Estimation: Review and interpret project plans, scope of work (SOW), and specifications from the Operations team, translating these into detailed cost estimates using Google Sheets.

• Profit Margin Assurance: Ensure all estimates meet established company profit margins.

• Estimate Management: Maintain estimate data in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for accounting and management reporting purposes, including tracking Estimate vs. Actual Job reports.

• Proposal Submission: Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals using Panda Doc software.

• Project Clarification: Collaborate with Project Managers to clarify project details and update estimates as necessary.

• Cost Database Maintenance: Maintain an up-to-date database of labor rates and material costs for accurate cost estimation.

• Process Improvement: Keep up with industry trends and identify ways to improve estimating processes.

• Workmanship Standards: Ensure estimates adhere to original project plans and specifications.

• Construction Project Support: Provide office support on construction projects as needed.

• Billing & Invoicing: Manage progress billing and customer deposits in QBO (including ACH and mobile deposits).

• Vendor Invoice Processing: Accurately code and process vendor invoices, aligning them with estimate line items.

• Collections & Payments: Conduct weekly accounts receivable collection calls and process vendor payments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of successful work experience in construction accounting (job costing) and project estimating.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with QBO, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe.

• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction industry terminology, field concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, analyze data, and compare vendor quotes.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication for collaboration with team members and vendors.

• Detail Orientation & Organization: Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Experience with Panda Doc and estimating software. (Preferred)

• Previous managerial experience. (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or similar field of study. (Preferred)
