About the Role
The Senior Sales Manager, Americas will lead sales and market development across North, Central, and South America. This role combines sales leadership with direct customer engagement and responsibility for profitable growth.
The ideal candidate is a senior industrial sales leader with deep textile/weaving experience who has sold technical equipment or machinery through a combination of direct sales, OEM relationships, agents/dealers, and distributors across the Americas, and who can both lead a sales team and personally develop strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Market Development
Lead and develop the sales organization across US, Central and South America
Execute regional sales strategy and drive profitable growth
Identify new markets, customers, and business opportunities
Manage pricing, margins, budgets, forecasts, and sales performance
Develop and strengthen direct and channel sales opportunities
Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
Customer & Channel Development
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, OEMs, strategic accounts, agents, dealers, and resellers
Identify opportunities and drive sales growth across the Americas
Provide technical and commercial support to customers
Conduct strategic customer visits and manage proposals through close
Develop and improve regional sales channels and partnerships
Resolve customer issues and strengthen industry relationships
Market & Sales Operations
Monitor market trends, competitors, customers, and opportunities within the weaving industry
Provide market and customer insights to support growth
Maintain accurate customer, installed-equipment, pipeline, and sales information
Track performance, identify gaps, and take corrective action
Provide feedback on customer needs, products, pricing, and market expectations
Industry & Customer Engagement
Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
Build visibility and relationships within the weaving and textile industry
Support regional and international trade fairs
Travel extensively throughout the Americas
Qualifications
Reside in AL, SC, NC, GA or TN
Bachelor's degree in Business, Textiles, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Proven sales leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Minimum 2 years of sales leadership experience
Strong weaving and textile manufacturing experience is required
Experience with agents, dealers, distributors, or resellers
Strong negotiation, pricing, budgeting, and forecasting skills
Technical and commercial understanding of industrial products
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build credibility with customers and decision makers
Comfortable working across cultures within a global organization
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Americas
English required; Spanish is a plus
