Fortune 500 manufacturing company seeking a Staff Accountant to join growing team.

Responsibilities

In the Staff Accountant position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of journal entries to ensure accuracy and      completion of general ledger


• Preparation, review and analysis of account      reconciliations


• General accounting support to all levels of staff and      management


• Maintenance of internal controls


• Assistance in year-end audits and quarterly reviews


• Preparation of review packages


• Preparation of budgets 


• Preparation and review of tax filings, including sales      & use tax for multiple states and certain state excise tax 


• Preparation of financial statements

Requirements

For the Staff Accountant role, the employer seeks the following skills and experience:

• 2 or more years of accounting experience


• Systems skills: Excel, Access and SAP STRONGLY      PREFERRED


• CPA preferred

 50-60K + bonus
