We're partnering with a well-established consumer products manufacturer that's been an industry leader for more than 20 years. Their innovative products are distributed through major retailers across North America, and they're looking for a Staff Accountant to join their collaborative accounting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of accounting experience who wants exposure beyond traditional AP responsibilities. You'll work alongside an experienced Accounting Manager and Controller while gaining hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, ERP implementation, and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do
Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid schedules in accordance with GAAP
Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations
Assist with commission and royalty reporting
Set up and maintain vendor records, W-9s, and 1099 reporting
Coordinate with operations regarding inventory, inbound container costs, and invoice approvals
Assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and special accounting projects
Help support process improvements and ERP system implementation initiatives
Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
1-3 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
Experience with Accounts Payable and account reconciliations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products experience
Inventory accounting exposure
ERP system experience (SAP, NetSuite, Acumatica, or similar)
