The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, contributing to month-end close procedures, account analysis and reconciliations, and supporting financial operations. This role plays an important part in ensuring the company's financial stability and success.

What Success Looks Like:
Execute month-end close activities accurately and on schedule.
Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining supporting documentation.
Complete account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses.
Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accounts balance appropriately.
Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts and audit documentation.
Prepare sales and use tax, GST/PST, and other required tax filings.
Assist with budgeting processes and financial reporting.
Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain strong internal controls and financial data integrity.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills
The salary range for this position is $63K-$77K with the potential to earn an annual bonus.
