The individual will define design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications, develop thorough definition of system external interfaces and define system implementation approach and operational concept. The candidate will ensure requirements are met and evaluate performance with customer. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze architectures and develop various DODAF or SysML Viewpoints in support of this effort.\n\n \n\n\nEssential Functions:\n\n\u2022 Define system architectures\n\n\u2022 Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies\n\n\u2022 Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.\n\n\u2022 Execution of trade studies to select from among multiple potential solutions\n\n\u2022 Perform Systems Requirements analysis\n\n\u2022 Requirements development including decomposition, allocation, validation and verification.\n\n\u2022 Functional decomposition and functional data flow development\n\n \n\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\n\u2022 Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 14 years engineering related experience, OR Master\u2019s in STEM with 12 years of experience OR Doctor\u0027s in STEM with 9 years of experience\n\n\u2022 Able to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance (Interim required to start)\n\n\u2022 Experience with Cameo Magic Draw or another MBSE tool such as Rhapsody, Sparx EA, and Enterprise Architect\n\n\u2022 Expert in Model Based Systems Engineering and Architecture Development \n\n\u2022 Extensive experience with SysML development\n\n\u2022 Expert in requirement management, and diagram development within CAMEO \n\n \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n\u2022 Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering, with experience using Model Based Systems Engineering\n\n\u2022 Applied knowledge of aircraft design\n\n\u2022 Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred\n\n\u2022 Experienced developing various DODAF view artifacts, especially Operational and functional viewpoints, using MBSE tools like CAMEO\n\n \n \n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
