This position requires the use of electrical and physical characterization techniques combined with using AI tools and statistical analysis to identify failures introduced by fabrication and assembly process, as well as testing marginalities. You will be responsible for communicating and coordinating component-level improvement activities with Product, Process, Quality and Test Engineering teams.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Perform electrical and statistical failure analysis to understand failure mechanisms\n * Identify causes of component failures through data analysis\n * Work closely with partner engineering teams to resolve fabrication and assembly process defect related issues and test flow marginalities\n * Using AI such as Claude and Copilot, as well as statistical tools, for detailed data analysis to improve component performance\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * 5+ years of experience using electrical and statistical failure analysis to understand failure mechanisms\n * 5+ years of experience in the application of electrical and physical characterization techniques.\n * Proven experience demonstrating analytical abilities combined with proficiency in applying statistical tools for analyzing data.\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * 7+ years of experience using electrical and statistical failure analysis to understand failure mechanisms\n * 7+ years of experience in the application of electrical and physical characterization techniques.\n * Advanced coursework in VLSI, device physics, semiconductor processes, Python, and statistics.\n * Experience with AI tools for component failure analysis, (Claude/Copilot).\n * Experience using JMP statistical software.\n * Demonstrated strong communication skills in a cross-functional team environment.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProduct Development Engineer 3 - Product Development Engineer 4\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
