This position will be staffed as full-time on-site. Teleworking is not available for this position. The position offers the 9/80 schedule. \n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get to Do\n\nThe Staff Pricing Analyst will support the Mission Systems Navigation, Intelligence, \u0026 Connectivity division (NIC), reporting to the Business Unit Pricing \u0026 Estimating Manager.\n\nRoles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Program Managers/Directors, Business Managers, Contracts Managers, Operations Managers, Capture Managers, and functional teams to provide support for major capture and proposal efforts. \n * Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneously\n * Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics\n * Perform competitive pricing analysis and support the program team during negotiations\n * Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction\n * Partner with Contracts, Business Development, and Finance organizations to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements\n * Create/administer pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization\n * Presenting pricing models to various levels of leadership\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications \n\n * Bachelors degree with 12 years of related price/cost experience, or Masters degree with 10 years of related price/cost experience.\n * Will consider 16 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.\n * Working Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA and other Government procurement regulations as they pertain to bid/costing proposals\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP\u2019s, Macros, etc), PowerPoint, and Word\n * Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment\n * Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.\n * US Citizenship required.\n * The ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret security clearance.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.\n * Previous defense contracting and pricing experience\n * Experience with different proposal and contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T\u0026M)\n * Proficiency in ProPricer\n * Strategic/Competitive pricing experience\n * Current, active DoW Secret security clearance\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You\n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
