This role is located in Palmdale, CA.\n\nIn this role, to be successful you should be a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team environment.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities will include:\n\n * Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.\n * Track and monitor changes to a software systems configuration metadata. This includes handling dependencies, version control, and variability management.\n * Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.\n * Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.\n * Design and implement build procedures that are used to support software product development and use.\n * Generate and maintain program software development, release, and change records.\n * Establish the agenda for the SCM Configuration Change Board.\n * Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.\n * Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.\n * Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.\n\n\n\nThe selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. Travel up to 25% may be required.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Must have a Bachelors degree and at least 12 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master\u0027s Degree and at least 10 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 8 years of relevant military / professional experience\n * Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\n * Experience with Jira and Confluence\n * Knowledge and fluent in tool development\n * Experience working in an agile environment\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $146,300.00 - $219,500.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
