Staffing Specialist - Resource Team

Help keep patient care running smoothly behind the scenes. As a Central Staffing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in coordinating staffing resources across the health system, ensuring units have the support they need to deliver exceptional patient care. Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Coordinate and adjust staffing levels in partnership with unit leaders and operational leadership

  
  


• 
  

  Reallocate staff resources based on patient care needs and census changes

  
  


• 
  

  Post, monitor, and update open shifts while maintaining accurate scheduling records

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with schedule balancing and communicate staffing coverage changes

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate sitter utilization, incentive requests, and travel staff approvals

  
  


• 
  

  Support bed management and staffing needs for overflow units

  
  


• 
  

  Follow staffing and fiscal guidelines during low-census periods

  
  


• 
  

  Provide administrative support related to payroll, compliance, audits, and reporting

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies

Qualifications
