Steel Processing Associate – 3rd Shift (Worthington Steel, Rome NY)

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor production machinery
• Load/unload materials and assist with packaging
• Perform quality checks
• Support machine operators and complete documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

Training & Schedule

• Train on 1st shift (7 AM–3 PM)
• Move to 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM) after training
• Saturday overtime scheduled in advance

What You Bring

• Some manufacturing or industrial experience
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
• Basic math and attention to detail
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs
• Willing to work 3rd shift and overtime
• Stable work history-1+ year with the same employer
• Reliable, safety‑focused, team‑oriented mindset

Pay & Benefits

• $20.00–$23.40/hr based on experience
• +$2/hr 3rd‑shift premium
• Time and a half after 40 hrs; double time after 48 hrs
• Vacation + 11 paid holidays

• Quarterly profit‑sharing: avg. $6,000–$10,000 annually
