What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Steward plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen and food and beverage areas at Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort. This position supports daily culinary operations by ensuring dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with resort standards and health and safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.

· Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.

· Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, workstations, and food preparation areas.

· Follow daily cleaning schedules and assist with deep-cleaning assignments.

· Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked stewarding and storage areas.

· Collect, separate, and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to established procedures.

· Support culinary, restaurant, and banquet operations by ensuring equipment and supplies are readily available.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and workplace safety procedures.

· Report equipment issues, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns to management.

· Assist with additional duties as assigned to support resort operations.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications and Requirements

· Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

· Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.

· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

· Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

· Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with assistance when necessary.

· Ability to work in hot, humid, and wet kitchen environments.

· Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
