Steward Kitchen

We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team at Le Méridien Charlotte | Sheraton Charlotte. This role plays an important part in keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly while supporting our team in delivering an exceptional experience for our guests. 

Schedule: Full-time with flexible availability for both AM and PM shifts.

What You’ll Do

• Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dish, and storage areas.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with plate-up and food production as needed.
• Remove trash and maintain clean kitchen floors and work areas.
• Assist with inventory of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working condition and report shortages or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and company standards.
• Support efficient kitchen operations and overall service performance.

 Skills to be successful in this role would include:

• Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, reading, writing.
• Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.
