As a STIHL Service Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our power equipment department by ensuring customers’ outdoor equipment stays reliable, safe, and ready to perform.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair STIHL outdoor power equipment including:
• Chainsaws
• Trimmers
• Blowers
• Battery-powered equipment
• Assemble and prepare new equipment for customer pickup or sale.
• Complete warranty claims and maintain accurate repair documentation.
• Communicate repair timelines, maintenance recommendations, and service details clearly with customers.
• Ensure all serviced equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service workspace.
• Participate in ongoing STIHL factory training and certification opportunities.
• Support the overall success of the power equipment department through excellent customer service and technical expertise.

Must Have

• Proven small engine repair knowledge or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to explain technical repairs in simple, customer-friendly language.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working specifically with STIHL outdoor power equipment.
• Existing STIHL certifications.
