Stone Fabricator

Stone Center is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Stone Fabricator to join our Columbus shop. If you take pride in precision handwork and want to build something real with your hands every day, we want to talk to you.

Stone Center has over 70 years of experience in natural stone fabrication and distribution of landscape and building stone. We’re experts in our craft, and we’re looking for great people to grow with us.

Full-time, four 10-hour days per week (3-day weekends!)

• Fabricate natural stone products (limestone, granite, and more) using hand-cutting and shop tools


• Read and work from shop drawings


• Operate cutting, grinding, and carving equipment


• Work safely and efficiently, independently and as part of a team

What You Bring

• Experience in stone fabrication (limestone, granite, or similar) – hand-cutting experience required


• Comfort with small hand tools and a mechanical, problem-solving mindset


• A manufacturing or shop-floor background


• Ability to lift and carry heavy material


• A positive, respectful attitude and pride in quality craftsmanship

• Pay: $22 – $25/hour


• Hands-on training in all areas of stone fabrication, including shop drawing reading and equipment operation
