Job Description - Stop Loss Associate

Job Title: Stop Loss Associate
Compensation Expectations: $19.00-$22.00 DOE
Role Location: Remote

Marpai Administrators (Subsidiary of Marpai Inc.) is a technology company transforming the Third Party Administration sector serving employers with self-funded health plans. Marpai Administrators (“Marpai”) is an AI-powered national TPA (third party administrator) using deep learning and machine learning to maximize population health outcomes with the greatest cost efficiency for any health plan budget. We create healthier members and a healthier bottom line. Marpai proactively targets at-risk members with meaningful clinical interventions to improve outcomes.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are adding to our Stop Loss Team! The Stop Loss Associate reports to the Director of Claims and is responsible for reviewing claims for completeness, working with the stop loss team to investigate issues and resolve problems.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Validate the information on all claims to ensure there is no missing or incomplete information

Analyze data reports to identify integrity issues and propose effective solutions.
Generate and review reports to assess data accuracy and identify anomalies.
Demonstrate professionalism, composure, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Adapt to shifting priorities and adjust work direction as directed by management.
Stay informed on industry trends and developments to maintain expertise and serve as a subject matter expert.
Other duties as required

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Secure client renewals by ensuring accurate claims processing and timely reimbursement.
Consistently meet departmental standards for quality, productivity, and attendance.
Adhere to deadlines established by Stop Loss Carriers.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Stop Loss Carriers and internal teams.

WHAT DO YOU NEED

Expansive knowledge of medical terminology.
Highly organized and capable of focusing on problem details
High proficiency in MS Office Suite of products
Flexible working hours.
2+ years in claim processing
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel or equivalent
HIPAA Compliance
Ability to handle large volumes of work, solve problems and manage multiple assignments while meeting critical deadlines.
Work with minimum supervision
