Store Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

Recruits, trains, supervises, and develops staff.

• Ensures accurate and timely timecard management for both self and staff.


• Upholds dress code standards for both self and staff.


• Uses provided company tools and processes to document the performance of staff.


• Models integrity to staff and treats others with respect.

Oversees day-to-day retail operations:

• Create store plan and schedules within labor budget.


• Resolves customer issues quickly and delivers appropriate solutions to make customers happy.


• Manages proper retail inventory levels and ensures the store is visually appealing and well-organized. 


• Responsible for cash variance for both sales and petty cash.

Maintains exceptional quality of all products:

• Utilizes FIFO guidelines to reduce waste.


• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.


• Uses operational tools to ensure completion of opening and closing duties.


• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Provides meaningful feedback for the DM with suggestions for improvement.

Focuses on Company Engagement:

• Engages in monthly promotional goals.


• Asks questions if something is unclear and seeks out opportunities to learn.


• Completes all required employee training.

Sales Focus and Transaction Growth

• Sets sales goals, monitors sales performance, implements promotions, and enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty.


•  Increases transactions for both bakery and retail products.


• Coaches employees on sales techniques.


• Ensures employees adhere to sample schedules.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED


• ServSafe Certification within 60 days of hire or promotion


• Prior retail experience
