We are seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to lead daily storeroom operations in a fast-paced paper and pulp manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, material availability, and supervision of hourly employees in a union environment.


The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, inventory management expertise, and the ability to work effectively within a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) while supporting safe, efficient plant operations.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Supervise daily storeroom operations including receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting

  • Lead and support union storeroom employees in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement

  • Manage work assignments, scheduling, and overtime distribution per contractual guidelines

  • Maintain accurate inventory in CMMS/ERP systems (SAP, Maximo, or similar)

  • Ensure proper handling and storage of MRO parts, critical spares, materials, and chemicals

  • Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement to ensure material availability

  • Support outages, shutdowns, and urgent repair needs through effective parts coordination

  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and plant policies

  • Participate in grievance processes and foster positive labor relations

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory


 


Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3–7 years of storeroom, warehouse, or inventory experience in an industrial setting

  • Prior supervisory experience in a union environment strongly preferred

  • Experience in paper, pulp, or heavy manufacturing highly preferred

  • Working knowledge of CMMS/ERP systems (JDE, SAP, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of MRO inventory and industrial parts

Working Conditions
