D&L Parts Company is looking for a Strategic Buyer who enjoys using data, building vendor relationships, and driving smart purchasing decisions that directly impact our business. If you're analytical, love Excel, and enjoy negotiating with suppliers while improving inventory performance, we'd love to meet you.  

What You'll Do

• Develop purchasing strategies for assigned product categories
• Purchase HVAC, appliance, and related products 
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, buying programs, and vendor agreements
• Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and demand forecasts
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory turns
• Create reports and dashboards that support purchasing decisions
• Maintain ERP purchasing data, pricing, and product information
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Distribution, IT, and Accounting to solve purchasing challenges
• Support strategic supply chain initiatives across the company

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
• ERP experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Bonus Points

• HVAC or appliance distribution experience
• Experience managing supplier relationships and inventory performance
