## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\nThis position resides within the Global Operations Supply Chain organization and reports to the head of Strategic Commodities. Location of the position is in Livermore, CA and will include worldwide travel.\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs a leader in Lam\u2019s Global Supplier Management organization, this critical position requires a passionate, driven leader who will architect and deliver strategic directions to the organization\u2019s supply chain, ensuring the company is positioned to be a winner in a complex, fast paced, highly competitive industry. Initial focus will be to architect commodity supply chain to support a growing global business with a high degree of complexity. This includes aligning resources, prioritizing strategies, establishing targets, and implementing growth and cost initiatives that support the broader business strategy.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Develop a 3-year vision, strategy and organizational structure for assigned commodities. The strategy should enhance competitive differentiation and address commodity availability, quality, and cost. \n * Your focus area will be managing commodities which include Commercial Off the Shelf parts and OEM parts. \n * You will be responsible for architecting and delivering a complete end to end strategy that supports Lam\u2019s 3-year horizon:\n * Supplier selection (Expansion \u0026 consolidation) that meet business needs\n * Deliver \u0026 focus supplier investments (R\u0026D \u0026 capacity expansions) that are aligned with Lam\u2019s needs\n * Responsible for commercial negotiation that result in achieving annual objectives for cost, quality, lead time \u0026 flexibility. \n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree and/or MBA in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations, Engineering, or related degree with 8 years of experience, or 6 years with a Master\u0027s, or 3 years with a Ph.D.\n * Demonstrated working experience in the Semiconductor Equipment industry is a plus\n * Strong SAP experience\n * Strong experiences in negotiating various types of contractual agreements\n * Strong SAP experience\n * Experience working with global suppliers\n * Demonstrated experience working successfully in a matrix organization\n * Effective verbal and written communication skills\n * Experience giving presentations and interaction with director reports, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership\n * Proficient on Excel and Power Point\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\nSalary\n\nSalary Range for this position: Min $75,000 - Max $172,000\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
