Be Here. Be Great. Working for a leader in the insurance industry means opportunity for you. Great American Insurance Group's member companies are subsidiaries of American Financial Group. We combine a "small company" culture where your ideas will be heard with "big company" expertise to help you succeed. With over 30 specialty and property and casualty operations, there are always opportunities here to learn and grow.

At Great American, we value and recognize the benefits derived when people with different backgrounds and experiences work together to achieve business results. Our goal is to create a workplace where all employees feel included, empowered, and enabled to perform at their best.

You’ll work confidently within the VMS, resolve issues as they arise, and help ensure renewals, policies, and procedures stay on track and compliant.

At Great American, our culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. Employees in this role may work remotely if not local to the area or, if based in the Cincinnati area, are expected to be on-site four days a week with the flexibility to work remotely one day. Core in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs. Job title and salary will be dependent on successful applicant’s level of experience.

  • Act as the first point of contact for contingent worker support, resolving questions and issues, including VMS triage.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth onboarding, offboarding, conversions, renewals, rate changes, and other program initiatives.

  • Maintain and update documentation, communicate process changes, and identify opportunities to improve service quality.

  • Manage the Vendor Management System proactively by monitoring performance and recommending enhancements.

  • Deliver a high level of service to internal and external partners while contributing to the overall success of the team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Generally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, or supply chain management in a corporate environment.

  • Experience in contingent workforce management, staffing, or HR operations, with a proven track record of success.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with preferred experience in Workday VNDLY, other VMS platforms, and ServiceNow; ability to create reports and presentations.

  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
