The Opportunity
Our partner is hiring a Strategy & Operations team member to help drive some of the company’s most important growth initiatives. In the near term, this role will play a critical part in recruiting operations and talent coordination, helping the team attract, engage, and move exceptional candidates through the hiring process. Beyond that, this person will take on broader operational and strategic projects tied to how the business scales.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, energized by fast-moving environments, and excited to work closely with leadership on high-priority initiatives. It offers meaningful exposure to recruiting, internal operations, process design, and cross-functional problem solving, with the chance to help build core systems inside an ambitious, high-growth startup.
Responsibilities
Support recruiting operations across the hiring funnel, including scheduling, candidate communication, coordination, and process execution
Help design and improve hiring workflows to create an efficient, high-quality candidate experience
Conduct initial candidate screens when appropriate and help assess alignment for priority roles
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify operational gaps and improve how work gets done as the company scales
Assist with onboarding design and other internal process improvements
Help define, monitor, and improve key operational metrics
Contribute to strategic, cross-functional initiatives based on evolving business priorities
Manage multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail, urgency, and ownership
Requirements
1+ years of professional experience in strategy, operations, recruiting, consulting, business operations, go-to-market, or a similarly rigorous environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfort working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and sound judgment
Interest in startup environments and willingness to work onsite in New York City five days per week
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a high-growth startup, consulting firm, venture-backed company, or similarly demanding environment
Exposure to recruiting, talent operations, or other people-facing business functions
Experience building or improving internal processes
Strong analytical thinking and comfort solving ambiguous business problems
Ability to operate at both the executional and strategic level
