Strategy & Operations

Job Description - Strategy & Operations

About Parambil

Parambil is the system of record for law firms that handle the most demanding injury cases in America. That means mass torts, where one firm represents thousands of people harmed by the same drug, device, or platform, and complex personal injury, where a single catastrophic case can involve years of medical records, dozens of experts, and millions of dollars at stake. Both kinds of work share a problem: too much information, too many moving parts, and software that was never built for it.

We replaced the spreadsheets, shared drives, and single-case tools with one platform where every case, document, and workflow lives, and we layered AI on top that acts like a sharp associate for the whole firm. Whether a firm is running a 5,000-claimant docket or a single case that will define its year, Parambil is where the work happens. It's a large, underserved market, and we're the company defining what software for it should look like.

Parambil has 6x-d its customer base in 2026 alone. The company is backed by $8M from leading investors including Bling Capital, NVP, and Daybreak. We're led by technical founders from McKinsey QuantumBlack, Yale/Stanford Medicine, and Emory CS, and advised by post-exit CTOs and AI researchers. Our team is lean, technical, and moving fast — and we're building the future of legal AI from our NYC office near Grand Central.

The Role

The person who thrives here is a generalist by choice, not by default. They've likely done a stint in consulting, banking, or a chief-of-staff seat, then moved into an operating role at a startup and found they liked building more than advising. They're comfortable being the most financially literate person in the room and the one who rewrites the homepage copy on the same day. They don't need a large team to feel effective, and they'd rather own three functions at a company that's scaling than one function at a company that's already scaled. Above all, they're precise: numbers are right, claims are true, and the story we tell matches the company we are.

What you'll do:

Finance

  • Own the financial model, budgeting, and forecasting; give leadership a clear view of runway, burn, and unit economics.

  • Lead pricing and packaging decisions for new modules and expansion tiers.

  • Support fundraising: build the data room, the narrative, and the metrics investors will ask for.

  • Stand up finance operations — billing, collections, contracts, vendor management — as we move from founder-led to systematized.

Operations

  • Design the company's operating cadence: planning cycles, goal-setting, and the reporting that keeps product, sales, and customer success aligned.

  • Build the dashboards that tell us what's working: pipeline, adoption, retention, delivery.

  • Own hiring operations and the people infrastructure a growing team needs — comp bands, onboarding, tooling.

  • Identify what's slowing us down and fix it, whether that's a process, a tool, or a decision that hasn't been made.

Marketing

  • Own positioning and messaging, and make sure the whole company tells the same story — from the website to the sales deck to what a rep says on a call.

  • Support product launches: campaign strategy, enablement materials, webinars, and the follow-through that turns attention into pipeline.

About You

  • 3+ years at a top tier consulting (MBB) or financial institution + 2+ years in strategy, operations, chief-of-staff, or GTM leadership roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or legal/professional services technology.

  • You've taken products from beta to general availability and know what breaks along the way.

  • Comfortable in the details of a customer rollout and the abstraction of a company plan — and able to move between them in the same afternoon.

  • Sharp writer and clear communicator. You can turn a messy discussion into a one-page decision.

  • You care about accuracy. Overstating what a product does is a credibility problem, and you'll be the person who catches it.

  • Curious about how law firms actually work. Litigation experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Nice to have: experience in legal tech, vertical SaaS, or selling to professional services firms. Familiarity with healthcare or medical records.

How to Apply

Submit your resume and email a short note (no more than 200 words) to the CEO on a business problem you owned end to end and what you'd do differently.
