POSITION SUMMARY:
The Street Hockey Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Street Hockey clinics that support skill development, game understanding, and a love for the sport among participants. This role develops and implements high-level structured, age-appropriate curriculum, leads engaging training sessions, and creates a positive, inclusive learning environment for players of varying skill levels. The Street Hockey Trainer also evaluates participant progress, adapts programming to meet individual and group needs, and ensures alignment with organizational standards and youth development best practices. Must be available Wednesday evenings from 5:00-9:00pm.
This position requires active, face-to-face leadership within programs and may involve early morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities based on program schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the success of the YMCA and its mission-driven work.
COMPENSATION
$20.80 - $25.70 ; Part Time, Non Exempt (up to 25 hours/week)

TRAVEL:
0-5% of local travel within the state of Michigan; occasional out-of-state travel may be required for educational conferences or training.
