Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer – Denver, Colorado

DISHER is currently partnering with an architecture and engineering firm that specializes in the food and beverage industry and is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will work on various lateral and seismic designs in a variety of different materials.

• Design to meet structural requirements, economics, constructability and quality
• Lead projects in various stages of design, fabrication and erection
• Sign off on drawings for submittals to General Contractors
• Structural engineering design for food and beverage processing projects
• Review detail drawings for compliance to contract drawings, specifications as well as applicable building codes
• Partner with Project Management to problem solve and provide answers to questions about details and designs of projects
• Mentor Engineer EITs and engineering interns to promote growth and development

• 5+ years of experience in Structural Engineering
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) Certification is preferred
• Passionate about designing for the food and beverage industries
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to lead a team
• Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations
