As the Business Unit embraces growth and advancement, this Manager will have the opportunity to implement creative agile solutions, streamline processes, and foster strategic business deals with the supply base. \n\nThis role may be based onsite out of one of the following locations:\n\n * Linthicum, MD (preferred location)\n * Dulles, VA\n * Rolling Meadows, IL\n * Redondo Beach, CA\n * San Diego, CA\n\n\n\nThis is not a remote or telecommuting position. No relocation will be provided.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage a team of 7 Subcontract Administrators and play a key role in ensuring subcontracts are placed meeting program cost and schedule objectives\n * Negotiate price, schedule, milestone payments, and terms, and ensure NGC is making favorable business deals with leverage to overcome subcontractor performance issues\n * Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk with supply base or internal processes\n * Manages performance of subcontractor, and depending on the size of the subcontract, act as lead member of a Supplier Management Team. Experienced with and can contribute to the evaluation of the supply base performance in the SAMS tool; can identify and resolve supplier performance issues; when necessary, construct and manage supplier Return to Green Plans (RTG\u2019s)\n * Ensures compliance with NGC policy and procedures, FAR, and customer contractual flow-downs\n * Support NGC proposals and influence quick turn quotations from subcontractors\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree\n * 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, subcontracts, or contracts\n * Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience leading a team or as an IPT Lead\n * Knowledgeable in FAR, DFARS, and corporate flow downs\n * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with the ability to acquire an SCI \n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Has worked a prior role in the Subcontracts or Contracts organizations, managing a contract valued at $25M or greater\n * Experience managing a team of direct reports\n * CAM, Integrated Product Team Lead, or Supplier Management Team Lead\n * Experience working on high dollar firm fixed price and cost-plus development Subcontracts\n * Experience conducting presentations and collaborating with Senior Leadership\n * Proven record of negotiation subcontracts valued greater than $50M\n * Experience managing a remote staff\n * SCI clearance\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $219,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
