They educate patients and their families about the addiction disease process. They are responsible for facilitating group discussions and conducting one-on-one sessions with patients to address substance abuse issues. They assess the patient's needs and recommend appropriate treatment modalities while also monitoring compliance with the Medication Assisted Treatment Program.
