Responsibilities:

* Implement provided lesson plans and instructional materials.

* Supervise students and maintain classroom discipline.

* Assist other school staff as needed.

* Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

* Take attendance and maintain accurate records.

* Adapt teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and abilities.

* Follow school policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

* Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behavior.

* Participate in before and after-school duties as assigned.

* Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.

* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff when necessary.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred)

* Valid state teaching license or substitute teaching certificate

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to manage classrooms effectively and maintain discipline

* Flexibility and adaptability to various teaching assignments and grade levels

* Patience and enthusiasm for working with students

* Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology

* CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

* Experience working with diverse student populations (preferred)

* Ability to follow and implement lesson plans

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Willingness to undergo background checks and fingerprinting as required by the school district
