Substitute Teacher (As Needed)
Christian School | Grades K–8

We are seeking a reliable and caring Substitute Teacher to serve our Christian school community on an as-needed basis for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

The ideal candidate has a heart for children, a commitment to Christian education, and the ability to step into the classroom and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Supervise students during class time and assigned duties
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with administration and staff
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Uphold school policies and Christian values
  
  

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Previous teaching or classroom experience preferred
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage students across various grade levels (K–8)
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and classroom management skills
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Must pass background screening
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Agreement with the school’s statement of faith
  
  

  
  

Schedule:

• 
  

  On-call / as needed
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  School hours typically between 7:45am - 3:30pm
