Summit Floor Coverings-Warehouse Associate

Summit Floor Coverings is looking for a part-time Warehouse Associate. This role will assist with warehouse operations and flooring deliveries. 

Responsibilities 

• Pull and stage orders for deliveries and customer pickups


• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse


• Assist with inventory counts and report damaged or missing materials


• Operate warehouse equipment as trained and authorized


• Help maintain accurate product locations and stock organization

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming flooring materials
  


• Assist the driver with loading and unloading flooring materials

Requirements 

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided


• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order processing and inventory counts


• Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus


• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently


• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer service initiatives


• Moving/lifting objects, tools, or inventory of a specific weight (e.g., up to 75lb boxes)


• Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling


• Reaching overhead or below, and using fine or gross motor manipulation


• Meeting specific vision (near, far, peripheral) or hearing standards required to complete tasks safely


• Working outdoors, in extreme heat or cold, or around loud noises and hazardous materials
