Qualifications

Educational and Experience

• Education: Masters degree in Educational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Experience: Proven track record of successful leadership in a diverse educational setting, with experience serving as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or in a comparable executive leadership role.
• Certification: Ability to attain Arkansas Superintendent licensure within 60 days of hire.

Compensation and Benefits

The Superintendent of Schools for Jonesboro Public Schools will receive a highly competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000 annually, reflecting the significant responsibilities and leadership required for this role.

In addition to base salary, the following benefits will be provided:

• Retirement Benefits: Participation in the districts pension plan (TRS) with other additional options.
