About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of Warehouse Supply Specialist in resolving inventory issues and supports the entire plant’s materials needs. This role is a great opportunity to learn and develop your career. Working and reporting to the Superintendent, you will be: 

• Monitoring working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure safety of employees. Complying with Rio Tinto and Statutory Safety requirements
• Direct supervision of Supply Specialists in a 365-day 24/7 operating warehouse
• Inspect and administer 10 warehouse areas and $25 million in inventory
• Complete Supply Chain Projects at the direction of the Warehouse Superintendent
• Proficiently manage work in Ellipse, Kronos, Excel, Word, and Outlook software
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and soliciting input from team members. 

What you'll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Maintenance Planning, Inventory Control, or Purchasing or a related field
• Experience supervising a team
• Excellent computer skills, knowledge of MS Office, Excel& SAP 

It will also be beneficial if you have: 

• Knowledge of MSHA regulations
