Job Description - Supervisor, Audio QC






Location: Orlando, FL | Full Time | Pay Range: $54,678.86 - $65,878.15/YR (Based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do


Drive Audio Quality and Readiness



  • Lead the inspection, testing, and verification of audio equipment to ensure operational excellence.

  • Oversee the setup, teardown, cleaning, and maintenance of audio systems before deployment.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with technicians to implement effective solutions.


Strengthen Quality Control Processes



  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards for inbound and outbound audio equipment.

  • Track quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

  • Maintain accurate inspection records, equipment logs, and issue documentation.


Lead and Develop the Team



  • Train, coach, and support QC Audio Technicians in technical skills, productivity, and accuracy.

  • Provide day-to-day direction, delegate responsibilities, and prioritize work to support operational needs.

  • Partner with leadership to assess staffing requirements, performance, and development opportunities.


Support Inventory Accuracy and Operational Efficiency



  • Monitor inventory integrity and help ensure equipment movement is accurate and well-documented.

  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners to support equipment readiness and availability.

  • Collaborate with Equipment Maintenance, Inventory Control, and Technical teams on shared operational goals.


Support Client Success



  • Communicate effectively across teams to maintain alignment on schedules and priorities.

  • Help ensure equipment is prepared and available to meet production timelines and client expectations.


What You Bring



  • 3+ years of experience in professional audio, AV, or quality control.

  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience.

  • Strong knowledge of professional audio systems, signal flow, troubleshooting, and equipment handling.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop technical team members.

  • Commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
