Supervisor of Manufacturing

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assembly of Columbarium's units, components, panels, doors, hardware, and related products according to drawings and specifics. 
• Manage the daily duties of the production workers
• Train new employees on all aspects of production
• Identify opportunity of process improvements and implement changes to enhance  productivity and quality.
• Lifting and relocating shipments manually and using pallet jacks or forklift 
• Material handling of all product involved within the department.
• Conduct walk thru for inventory to keep a current approximate count on all raw materials in stock.
• Speak with president of UVP and purchasing to order materials need, along with using MRP for inventory supplies.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Make sure products are received in properly with no damages 
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Forklift certified 
• Ability to stay organized
• Safety Management
• Quality Focus
• Power Tools
• Bilingual/Spanish speaking Preferred
