Job Summary:
Seeking meticulous candidates for a Confidential role at one of our District Offices. This position entails diverse administrative tasks, including supporting management and employees, overseeing daily office needs, and managing tasks related to Division of Station Operations.
Responsibility:
The position is responsible for the handling of Administrative Support activities for the Department of Subways (Stations, Service Delivery, DCE and MOW) , This includes Electronically maintaining employee records for the Dept. of Subways, Responding to requests for information/documentation from various departments (internal/external), Coordinating the distribution and reproduction of Operations information/documentation, coordinating with the Law Dept. District Offices and the Operations Control Center for employee court appearance and or attendance, Assisting in processing new hires. Support the issuing, tracking and collection of property as well as District Operations.
Compensation:
Station Supervisor I - (Lateral Transfer)
Station Supervisor II - (Lateral Transfer)
Education and Experience:
Station Supervisors who have one (1) year in title.
Driver's License Requirement:
A motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York with no restrictions, which would preclude the performance of Supervisor (Stations) work. This license must be maintained for the duration of employment
Desired Skills:
Must have excellent operating and attendance report
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to maintain an electronic filing system (Generate/Analyze reports)
Must have general computer skills. (Outlook, Word, Access and Excel)
Must be able to report during emergencies
Must have a valid driver's license
Selection Method:
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience and interview.
Other Information:
Pursuant to the New York State Public Officers Law & the MTA Code of Ethics, all employees who hold a policymaking position must file an Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure (FDS) with the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (the “Commission”).
