Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent on duty, the selected candidate will be responsible for working within District.

Responsibility:

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to transmitting, receiving, responding and coordinating emergency calls/ conditions using various emergency communications systems; communicating with Field Supervisors and Leadership; and updating various database system. The selected candidate will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and completing incident reports in a timely manner as well as timely communication of incident activity to Operations Control Center.

Station Supervisor II   - (Lateral Transfer)

Education and Experience:

Station Supervisors who have one (1) year in title.

Desired Skills:

Working Knowledge of NYCT rules, regulations and operating procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of Hexagon EAM System
Knowledge of subway system and NYC Landmarks
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Work, Excel, TEAMS and Access)
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls
Excellent writing and communication skills
Excellent Operating and attendance record

Selection Method:

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience and interview.
