Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 3 in Ridgecrest, CA. \n\nSupports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.\n\nResponsibilities for desired position:\n\nRoles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\n\n\u00b7 Research status of material critical to production schedule and expedite into stock\n\n\u00b7 Manages chemicals from start to finish, including streamlining process upon delivery, proper labeling, safety paperwork document storage, placement into correct location on production floor, and updating systematically in Excel, Costpoint system and shared file\n\n\u00b7 Identifies, red-tags, records, and dispose of expired material\n\n\u00b7 Ensures adequate supply of consumable material on hand by monitoring current inventory levels and expiration dates\n\n\u00b7 Interfaces with various supply chain and engineering teams (procurement, subcontracts, material program management, production control, quality, mission assurance, etc.) to direct appropriate movement of material\n\n\u00b7 Conducts cost and metrics analysis on an as-needed basis\n\n\u00b7 Material metrics: tracks and categorizes topics that occur within the programs, in addition to conducting time studies.\n\n\u00b7 Creates Status Report for material control organization, including main bulletin board, space for recurring items, and special projects. \n\n\u00b7 Collects weekly status from staff and consolidate into main report. \n\n\u00b7 Develops or update functional or operational manuals outlining established methods of performing work in accordance with organizational policy.\n\n\u00b7 Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, material, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.\n\n\u00b7 Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.\n\n\u00b7 Develops requisitions for and manages records of material, components, repair parts and related manuals.\n\n\u00b7 Tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities.\n\n\u00b7 Documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life cycle of product.\n\n\u00b7 Provides logistic assistance to floor personnel daily\n\n\u00b7 Determines course of action to maintain proper inventory levels of Ground Support Equipment\u2019s and etc.\n\n\u00b7 Reviews production schedule and coordinate logistics support to ensure on time delivery of various equipment to the floor\n\n\u00b7 Inventories all locations of program material, update data base on Costpoint.\n\n\u00b7 Sorts and sustains all cabinets, racks, shelves and maintain records\n\n\u00b7 Facilitates and maintains inventory and rotation of Shelf-Life Material\n\n\u00b7 through calibration cycles insuring In CAL equipment is available when required\n\n\u00b7 Coordinates transportation of material between various sites and locations\n\n\u00b7 Evaluates existing processes and make recommendations on improvements\n\n\u00b7 \n\nBasic Qualifications for desired position:\n\n * High school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, manufacturing shop floor, warehousing, and/or inventory control\n\n * Ability to obtain a forklift certification\n\n * Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time\n\n * Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to sort, filter and navigate through data, insert conditional formatting, common formulas to conduct necessary analysis of inventory\n\n * U.S. Citizenship is required.\n\n * Active Clearance\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications for desired position:\n\n\u00b7 Active DoD Secret Clearance\n\n\u00b7 Knowledge of Cognos, CostPoint, and advanced Excel formulas (index match, offset, indirect, etc.)\n\n\u00b7 Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack\n\n\u00b7 Prior experience using Costpoint/MES\n\n\u00b7 Previous forklift experience\n\n\u00b7 Hazmat or chemical handling experience\n\n\u00b7 NGC manufacturing shop floor experience\n\n\u00b7 Ability to work overtime as needed to support the business\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $93,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
