Description

One Supply Chain Management (OSCM) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to California.  OSCM's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.  


The Supply Chain Technician is an entry-level position based in the local ministry this position supports.  This position is responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed.

Required Qualifications: 



  • Coursework/Training: Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.

  • Upon hire: Healthstream Customer Service Certification, or completed within 30 days of hire 

  • Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Medical materials management experience.
