Supply Technician

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Supply Technician for their Surgery department responsible for maintaining and organizing an adequate level of supplies and/or minor equipment to support department operations. Maintains inventory records and coordinates supply delivery to all stakeholders. Cleans equipment and restocks. Assists with ordering, filing and a variety of clerical/support tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. 

Technical Requirements:

• Required: Computer competency required. Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
• Preferred: Ability to operate sterilization equipment.

Years of Related Work Experience:

• Preferred: If working in the OR, preferred 6 months working experience in Surgical Services environment that could include the Operating Room or SPD. Knowledge of basic surgical instruments and surgical procedures..
