Job Title: Production Support Analyst


Location: Lake Mary, FL


Job Type: Full Time


Job Responsibilities

 



  • Supports day to day activities required to maintain business systems. Responsible for daily health checks, release and support planning.

  • Manage all Production support work during US day time and provide on-call support during night time on rotation basis.

  • Research, trace, reproduce and resolve Mainframe Production systems/VisionPLUS Application incidents and issues.

  • Participate in Incident Management calls and Co-ordinate with other support teams as necessary to resolve Production systems/application defects and issues.

  • Research and analyze Production VisionPLUS application questions received from Fiserv and Business End-Users.

  • Apply technical knowledge to find the root cause and to suggest a temporary/permanent fix to address Mainframe and VisionPLUS application issues. Develop a solution and produce reports/files as necessary to correct the impacted accounts.

  • Fix all batch abends reported and document what was changed and/or how the batch job was fixed. Suggest a temporary/permanent fix to address the abend as needed.  

  • Develop or assist in Root Cause Analysis of the Production issues.  

  • Provide daily status updates in the form of emails and status update calls highlighting the details of the incidents worked on and report all open issues.

  • Support VisionPLUS Code installations (Warranty and Emergency).

  • Validate and Approve Production code install requests.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a VisionPLUS system with specialization in CMS module.

  • Prior Production Support Analyst experience is a plus.

  • Analyze and tackle complex problems, have superb communication skills, and are team-oriented.

  • Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis

  • Make quick and accurate decisions

  • Creatively identifying and implementing programming solutions to meet business requirements

  • Knowledge of Fiserv Credit products and services is a plus.
