Support Engineer IV, Shepherd

Amazon is looking for a Support Engineer to join their Security Issues Management team. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of software development or technical support experience, proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, Unix experience, scripting skills in modern programming languages, and familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies. In this role, you'll serve as the initial point of contact for Amazon builders, assisting them in resolving issues related to security tools and infrastructure. You'll also be responsible for developing and maintaining security -related documentation and metrics, troubleshooting infrastructure problems, and supporting a suite of internally developed analysis tools. The Security Issues Management team plays a critical role in maintaining security across Amazon's services, working on automation, and collaborating with various security teams and practitioners.
