Surgery Coordinator, Vascular

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Surgery Coordinator to join Vascular!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary:

Secures necessary patient information relating to the scheduling and/or processing of surgical procedures. Schedules surgeries and performs required procedures including documentation. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinates information provided for business services functions including CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding.

Work Schedule:

Fulltime 1.0 fte. Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

2 or more years related experience in a health care environment. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Medical terminology and CPT-4 coding knowledge required.

The incumbent must be able to proficiently operate the following: Typewriter or Word Processor, CRT, Printer, Telephone, Photocopier, Fax Machine, and 10-key Calculator.

Detail oriented individual with strong human relation and organizational skills.
